Sitting volleyball competitions

Domestically, athletes can enter via a team into the Sitting Grand Prix. This is currently run by Volleyball England, andfurther information is found here. Club teams can also enter a European club competition run by ParaVolley Europe.

Internationally, athletes compete for their country - Great Britain - in European and World Competitions, run by ParaVolley Europe and World ParaVolley. These range from small weekend tournaments like the Nations League, to European Championships, World Champions, World Cups and the Paralympic Games.

 Beach volleyball competitions

Pairs can compete domestically or internationally within beach volleyball competition network.

Domestically UK Beach Tour (UKBT) are the main source of a competitive tour in Great Britain. For more info, check out their website here

Internationally, there are a series of events that athletes compete in under their national banner. For beach volleyball up until the Olympics Games and a few other key events, athletes compete for their home nations of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

National Tours - many nations hold their own tour event which international teams can enter

CEV events - the European federation is named European Volleyball Confederation (CEV). They run key events like the European Beach Championships, the Nations Cup (qualification tournament for the Olympics), and the age group European Beach Championships. FIVB events - The world federation is named Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). They run through Volleyball World a world series called the Beach Pro Tour. These events are split between Futures, Challenger and Elite 16 levels, along with the World Championships.
