Joanna Cook - Performance Manager
Leading the UKSport NSSF, with a focus on performance progression for the senior beach and sitting volleyball programmes, whilst working to professionalise the operations of the organisation, and afford greater opportunities for the sport to progress in the future.
Joanna comes from a vast background of Olympic sport. At British Taekwondo as programme manager, assisting in the creation of a centralised high-performance academy, which culminated in the first taekwondo Olympic medal for Great Britain in the Beijing Olympic Games. For British Swimming, working specifically with British Water Polo she was responsible for leading the world class programmes through to the London 2012 Olympics. For British Fencing, as head of Pathway Development, she developed a new logical and systematic pathway obtaining significant further investment from Sport England.
